New Years Eve

Well I took the day off finally..whew.

Had to do some errands and then try to figure out what we are going to eat for New Years Eve. Usually we eat a lobster/steak dinner and I give the kids...what ever they want for dinner.

Since Mike and I are both sick we didn't know if we would make it to midnight tonight. I let the girls stay up till 10pm heck they would have played till midnight if I let them..ha! Funny kids. Watched another stupid movie and tried to convince Mike to watch a DVD but he went to bed. I actually made it to midnight. Hooray..ha..then I went to bed.

We drank a new beer brewed with apple cider and coriander.. was pretty good. Didn't crack open a bottle of champagne (if anyone knows me this my favorite drink next to a cold Corona) we were not motivated and still didn't feel good.

Yikes putting the girls to bed at 10:00pm didn't solve our dilemma of them waking up at 8:00am. They were ready to go! I made my famous french toast and bacon breakfast and we got started early.

Grandma called to wish a Happy New Year and the girls thought that was pretty cool.

Kyra told me that she has a crush on a boy in her class. I said that is pretty cool. Kyra said "But Mom he is really stupid" I said oh and she said " No Mom I am not kidding..he is really stupid". This is coming from my first grader. Ha. Such is life.
