Hey yesterday was great. I had my hair appointment. I have a wonderful hair dresser in downtown Edmonds. So I drove by the Edmonds art festival. Not bad.
After that the girls had a play date with Tiffy's friend Ryan at his house, so I drove them over there. We were there from 1pm-4pm whew! The gals had a blast. Especially Kyra, she thought that it was pretty cool that she was the oldest one.
I bought shishkabob's for dinner and came home. I found Mike mowing the lawn on the riding mower and drinking beer, no shirt on and I think he was singing. He said he was trying to get a tan. Too funny. The girls deceided to fill up the pool and jump in it. Mike said just leave the pool out. Just a picture of the house here.
Today we are going up to the Kangaroo farm located in Arlington. You know living in Snohomish County has given us the chance to go to all kinds of animal things for the kids. We have see the alpacas at the Monroe Fair grounds, the llamas up on Camano island, the animal park/petting zoo at Forest Ridge in Everett and that is just the start.
I wanted to take Mike to Brewfest today but that probably isn't going to happen. I have never gone to Brewfest. I have wanted to go since it was located out at I think the Herbfarm..many moons ago. There is another brewfest coming up in Seattle next month, so maybe we'll go to that one. When Mike and I were dating back in 1993 we toured all the local brew houses, Ballard Bitter, Red Hook and there was a few others all located in the Ballard/Freemont area at that time. Who would have guessed that Micro Brews would have grown so popular. Now Mike wants Rainier stuff. He is trying to find new Rainier bottles and has me looking everywhere for these things.
