I am almost done with one book and have tried twice now to start my next book...which is about a young man born in Vietnam to an American GI and Vietnamese lady. I think that I just need a quiet room to read in.

This weather has been gorgeous...now if it would just warm up. I am watching the weather for Las Vegas. Next month is my trip with the gals..a nice weekend get away. This time we are staying in a time share near the Tropicana. Two bedroom unit. Should be alot of fun. I was trying to think of all the places I have stayed in in Vegas. In order: Circus Circus, Venetian, Harrahs, New York New York, Tropicana and Aladdin. Next time I go down and stay at a hotel I would like to try Caesars Palace,Belliagio, Palms, Mirage or Mandalay Bay (but that is a down the strip from where I like to gamble). So far my two favorites are Venetian (for the nice rooms) and Harrahs (for the location on the strip). I wouldn't stay at Circus Circus or Tropicana again.

I need a good steak restaurant down there too. I have eaten at a few of them..but my favorite is still Rosewood. The one at the Bellagio is good too..but sometimes hard to get into. Sigh.
