You know there is something to be said about an Easter Egg hunt in the rain. Saturday our development had their annual hunt in the community park. Mind you it was pouring down rain. We started at 12:00 and were done by 12:10 including picking out a prize for each child. That had to be the fastest Easter Egg Hunt I have ever gone on. Silly Tiffany wanted to run around in the rain with her jacket and hood on but didn't want to be under Mike's big golfing umbrella. Every time Mike tried to put the umbrella over her head she ran. Guess she like the rain!The kids found eggs really fast considering it was pouring down rain. Kyra did an excellent job finding eggs and even helped the little ones find eggs.

After this we headed home on the premise of eating lunch, changing out of wet clothes and going to Alderwood mall to see the Easter Bunny for pictures. Well Kyra said " I don't want to go if I have to get out in the rain again." We didn't push it. Instead we drove around and looked at stuff, went to the local thrift shop for Mike to find more beer mirror/signs to take apart and paint for pool room and grab a latte for me. Actually we ended up buying another car. Which makes 5 now. I think we must be breeding cars. Convertible Camaro, Z28 1995 Red with a gray interior of course a V-8. Anyhow that lasted from 4:30pm until after 8:00pm ...long event for kids, but we got a car and found a really neat pizza place.
Sunni's in Lynnwood on HWY 99. Very kitchy, cool mid to late 1960's decor...swag lamps, old paintings, wide mens ties, ashtrays that would have always been on a coffee table and really cool music. Not too mention very good pizza and Greek Food and a full bar with BEER!! I had a Mirror Pond and that was DELICOUS.
Anyhow the kids were cranky but made it thru dinner and then I dropped Mike off back at the car lot. He drove the car home but didn't get in until 3:00am...he got to do some really free buffing and detail work on the car which made him very happy.
