Weekend
The weekend went by way too fast. Saturday I worked and near the end of the work day, a high school classmate walked in. I hadn't seen him in at least 19 years..yikes almost 20. Surprise! Anyhow we chatted about everything from high school, our lives, work. He is self employed log smith. Building log homes and furniture. He lives over on Whidbey Island and has been there for 15 years. Seems like time stood still when chatting with him. Brought back a lot of memories for me about my high school.
I graduated from Seattle Lutheran High School. Very small conservative school. My class had 42 people in it...so there is no way we didn't all know each other. Dating, dances, school stuff. Looking back I received a fine education. But, while I was attending there I felt like I was locked in some crazy prison. There were many strict rules, locker searches, dress code to follow, chapel service...
Ok so Saturday night Mike and I ate some delicious Thai food. That day Mike took the girls to Kyras' soccer game and pizza party. She received a cute little trophy and the coach said something really nice about her. Tiffany just ate pizza and cake. So by time I got home they were full. Mike likes spicy Thai food. I can only handle 1 star on a 3 star scale. After dinner. Mike cranked the stereo in the living room so the girls could dance and run around. I drank my latest favorite drink, blue vodka martini. Yummy. But that can really sneak up on you. We then watched We Were Soldiers. yikes that can really depress you. Good movie.
Sunday, Sunday, Sunday. Went looking for a tv stand for the girls play room and then we went to Staples and Lowes. Lowes is like the destination of every weekend for us. I am tired of that place, its a money pit.
