Midweek
This morning on the news I heard about Yassir Arafat. I think that he must be almost dead by now. I have to wonder what will happen when he dies? I think that he has been a thorn in the side of the US peace process and now the Iraq war.
I am going to check out the new mall today. Gotta see what has changed and what is new. Plus I need to get a few ideas for Mike's Christmas presents. He generally is pretty easy to shop for during Christmas. But after 10 years I have to come up with some new ideas for him. He likes gadgets.
Tiffany has asked me for a scoobie pillow and scoobie stuff. Kyra is a little more into the Polly Pocket scene. She does want this fake cash machine that she saw in the Toys R US flyer. I think that she would probably get bored with the thing, but who knows. I will have to get a better list of items to buy for the girls.
Last night I helped Kyra read a book for her first grade reading class. She is a good reader. But this book was a challenge for her. Some of the words are a little more difficult. Tiffany had me read her a book about Dilly Duck. She thought it was really cute.
I have started to read Shopholic goes to New York. But I can't seem to finish the book. Its cute but doesn't have the same reading pleasure as the last one. I need to buy the new Earl Emerson mystery novel. He is a great author. Off to see the new Borders opened up at the mall!
